Training is essential for the progress and development of any individual. At UCMAS, we believe in constant upgradation of knowledge, skills & techniques. UCMAS is a technical program and it’s important that the faculties are trained on the techniques and groomed on the classroom management skills so that they are equipped to conduct a UCMAS class effectively. Our training methods for our students are also improvised periodically so that UCMAS children can get the most out of the program by having fun, interactive and engaging classes. Our pursuit towards enhancing our training methods ensure higher quality and skills of our faculties as well as students.
UCMAS technique uses the UC tool – the abacus; which trains students to develop their brain and gives them a unique way to do fast calculation, students are trained on the finger technique and formulas with which they work on the book pages using the physical as well as mental abacus. UCMAS provides an enriching classroom group session to all students.
The 2-hour classroom is divided into different fun activities using the flash cards, numbers and listening exercises which will enhance the VAT Learning- Visual Auditory and Tactile Learning. Students earn and collect points as a group or individually for their participation and performance which creates a fulfilled energetic and competitive learning environment for the students
A successful life is built upon successful habit. Good work habits, discipline is an essential attribute to the personality development of a child and would help them to achieve great success in life. Habit formation is a process which is formed during the early learning years of a child and would require consistent reinforcement. The 3 to 4 years of training at UCMAS helps children to develop regular work habits as students are given daily home assignments for 15 to 20 minutes. At UCMAS with the point system we create a positive reinforcement of work & study habits like punctuality, regularity, uniformity (wearing UCMAS t-shirt) which builds up the necessary discipline to equip them to the rigorous work involved in future.
4 UC CULTURE UCMAS culture encourages students to be a part of and experience the different platform of competition and exams which develops competitive spirit, time management skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude. Competition – UCMAS offers opportunity to all their students to be a part of a huge competition where they compete with thousands of students and are given a chance to showcase their talent. Competition teaches the importance of regularity, hard work, dedication and time management skills as students are expected to complete 200 questions in 8 minutes which requires intense practice. IGE – International Grading Exam are offered to all UCMAS student to be a part of international exam which prepares them to compete globally and accept new and greater challenges in life and explore more opportunities to acquire credentials for abacus learning.
